Senior Software Engineer - Testing Automation

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement appropriate test automation tools, frameworks and technologies within organization.
• Collaborate with software analysis team to understand test requirements and translate to automated test cases.
• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using appropriate and up-to-date automation testing tools and programming languages.
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities to ensure that testing activities are properly scoped and resourced.
• Responsible to execute automated test scripts and analyse test results.
• Investigate and debug test failures, identify root cause and work with development team to resolve issues.
• Maintain and update test scripts and frameworks to accommodate changes in systems.
• Analyse and summarise automated test results.
• Provide insights, recommendations, knowledge and best practices with QA team, development team and stakeholders to improve overall test automation effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in Information Technology or related disciplines.’
• Minimum 2 years hands-on working experience in software testing using automated testing tools.
• Good technical knowledge in up-to-date software testing methodologies and automated testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Apache JMeter).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Able to work after normal working hours or weekends as and when required.
