Compliance Department
Deputy Manager
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Compliance Manager in planning and monitoring the department’s annual work plan.
- Assist in maintaining and reviewing of compliance-related policies, processes and procedures to ensure alignment with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines issued by regulatory authorities.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing compliance reports for tabling to various Committees.
- Update, maintain and communicate compliance-related policies, processes and procedures, including conducting briefings and trainings for employees and unit trust consultants.
- Provide advice on compliance matters, including investment management and transactions carried out by directors, employees and other relevant stakeholders of the Company.
- Degree in any discipline.
- At least 8 years’ experience in regulatory compliance related role, legal or audit.
- Prior experience in a financial institution or relevant industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of compliance regulations and frameworks related to the capital market industry is advantageous.
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Possess good writing skills with strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and deliver within tight timelines.
