Compliance Department

Deputy Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Compliance Manager in planning and monitoring the department’s annual work plan.
  • Assist in maintaining and reviewing of compliance-related policies, processes and procedures to ensure alignment with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines issued by regulatory authorities.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing compliance reports for tabling to various Committees.
  • Update, maintain and communicate compliance-related policies, processes and procedures, including conducting briefings and trainings for employees and unit trust consultants.
  • Provide advice on compliance matters, including investment management and transactions carried out by directors, employees and other relevant stakeholders of the Company.

Requirements:


  • Degree in any discipline.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in regulatory compliance related role, legal or audit.
  • Prior experience in a financial institution or relevant industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations and frameworks related to the capital market industry is advantageous.
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess good writing skills with strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and deliver within tight timelines.
