Company Secretary
Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspect of corporate secretarial duties, which included but not limited to, proper and timely filing of statutory records, submission of statutory returns and compliance with company and securities regulations (i.e. SSM, SC, etc.)
- Coordinate the process of Annual General Meetings (AGMs)/Board Meetings/key meetings, as required, and prepare the meeting minutes
- Handle the compilation and distribution of Board papers
- Handle all the correspondences and matters pertaining to the directors and shareholders of the Company
- Monitor and bring to the Board’s attention on any relevant laws, regulatory guidelines and corporate governance developments which may impact the business
- An associate member of MAICSA and able to be registered as a Company Secretary under Companies Act 2016
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in handling full spectrum of company secretarial duties/advisories
- Experience in handling legal matters is an added advantage
- Well-versed with company secretarial practice and equipped with knowledge of the Companies Act 2016, main board listing requirements, Securities Commission Act, MCCG and other relevant rules and regulations
- Well-versed with MBRS, e-BOS, MyCOID and other systems/applications of SSM, SC and other authorities
- Possess good interpersonal and management skills, able to multitask and work well under pressure
- Possess good command of spoken and written English
