Senior Technical Support Engineer – Enterprise Backup & Archival

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily Backup & Archival operations, including team management and technical guidance.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise backup, archival, and storage solutions.
• Develop and manage backup, retention, disaster recovery (DR), and compliance policies.
• Drive process improvements through automation, monitoring, and optimization initiatives.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex backup and storage issues.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise backup, archiving, disaster recovery, or infrastructure support.
• Experience in leading or mentoring technical teams.
• Hands-on experience with Veritas NetBackup, Object Storage, HPE StoreOnce, and Windows/ Linux administration.
• Willing to provide after-hours support, on-call coverage, and participate in DR activities when required.
