Team Lead - Investment Research

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of research analysts (equity and fixed income) covering foreign and/or domestic markets
• Undertake fundamental research activities covering foreign and/or domestic markets
• Provide market and sector outlook for regional and global/ domestic markets
• Provide investment ideas to the fund managers
• To be involved in selection of stocks for construction of model portfolios for country and regional funds based on fundamental research approach
• Conduct investment talks to unit holders and agency force periodically

Requirements:

• Degree in Investment/ Economics/ Accounting/ Finance, or its equivalent. Professional qualification in CFA would be an added advantage
• At least 15 years of experience in investment research with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role in an established asset management company/ stockbroking firm/ financial institution
• In-depth technical knowledge of global equity market, encompassing economic, fundamental, and technical analysis
• Proven leadership experience with capabilities in managing a team or mentoring research analysts
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
