What is Regular Investment Authorisation (RIA)?

Regular Investment Authorisation or RIA is a request for regular switching of a specific amount of units from a bond/money market fund into an equity/mixed asset/balanced fund at selected intervals or frequency.

How to Register for Regular Investment Authorisation?

  1. Login to PMO
  2. Under the menu bar, select “Accounts > Regular Investment Authorisation”
  3. Select a “Switch-from Account”
    Must be an existing Bond or Money Market Fund account
  4. Select a “Switch-to Fund”
    • Must be an Equity/Balanced/Mixed Asset Fund
    • Could be a new or existing account
  5. When registering for Regular Investment Authorisation investors should specify:
    • Amount to be switched out (minimum RM100*)
    • Interval (monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually)
    • Deduction day of the month
    • No. of deductions (e.g.: 3 times, 6 times, perpetual, etc.)

*Applicable for switching from the e-Series of money market funds to e-Series of equity/mixed asset/balanced funds
