Phishing is a serious cybersecurity risk, which can result in identity theft or financial loss. Stay alert and vigilant to protect yourself and your loved ones from falling prey to such scams.

You should be mindful of:
• Companies that offer unrealistically high returns or lucrative benefits of goods and services • Charity organisations that request charitable donations to be deposited into the bank account number given • Phone calls impersonating authorities or officials from organisations • Texts/messages impersonating government bodies offering financial aid • E-mails/messages of account deactivation or stating that your mailbox is full • E-mails with file/video/document attachments • E-mails/messages indicating you have won a prize • E-mails/messages or phone calls indicating you have undelivered shipments/packages
