Grow Your Money with Regular Investing

The Malay proverb “sikit-sikit, lama-lama jadi bukit” suggests that any amount of money, if saved diligently, will grow to be a substantial amount over time. Similarly, if invested regularly over the long term, your money can grow steadily while capitalising on the power of compounding.

One way to stay invested over the long term while riding out the ups and downs of the financial markets is to practise Ringgit Cost Averaging (RCA).

RCA is a long-term investment technique where you invest a fixed amount of money into a given investment on a regular basis, regardless of the price. Practising RCA will also help you to reduce the risks associated with investing a single large sum at an inopportune time.

With Public Mutual, you can start investing with as low as RM100^.

There is no need to time the market!

You can harness the power of compounding.

Helps reduce the risks associated with investing a single large sum at an inopportune time.

Easy and convenient via Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA) or Regular Investment Authorisation (RIA).

As an example, you can invest RM400 monthly for 12 months, instead of investing a lump sum of RM4,800. This can be done by setting up DDA and your RM400 will buy more units when the price is low, and fewer units when the price is high.

You can incorporate the RCA strategy into your investments through Public Mutual’s Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA) or Regular Investment Authorisation (RIA) facilities.

DDA is an authorisation to the bank of your choice to deduct a predetermined amount of money to be transferred into the unit trust fund of your choice. For example, you can choose to transfer as little as RM100 on a monthly basis. The amount and frequency of investments can depend on your financial means and your investment goals.

  • Start investing as soon as possible to build a sizeable amount over time
  • Stay invested for the long term regardless of price fluctuations
  • Take advantage of DDA and RIA facilities to implement the RCA strategy
