Company Secretary
Responsibilities:
Ensure proper and timely filing of statutory documents and financial statements with the relevant
authorities such as Companies Commission of Malaysia
Advise the board on corporate disclosures and compliance with company and securities regulations
Monitor corporate governance developments and assist the board in applying governance practices
to meet the board’s needs and stakeholders’ expectations
Handle all the correspondences and matters pertaining to the directors and shareholders of the
Company
Handle the compilation of Board papers and preparation of Board minutes
Coordinate the process of Annual General Meetings (AGMs)
Maintain and update all statutory records of the Company
Requirements:
Degree in any discipline or possess The Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) qualification
(formerly the ICSA qualification)
An associate member of The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators
(MAICSA) and able to be named as a Company Secretary
Minimum 5 years of working experience in secretarial field
Well-versed with company secretarial practice and equipped with knowledge of the Companies
Act 2016, main board listing requirements, Securities Commission Act, Malaysian Code on
Corporate Governance and other relevant rules and regulations
Possess good coordination and management skills, able to multitask and work well under pressure
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
Possess good command of spoken and written English
