Manager
Responsibilities:
Assist the Head of Compliance in the provision of general compliance advice and expertise to address compliance issues to the Senior Management and other stakeholders of the Company
Recommend appropriate remedial measures to resolve non-compliances and controls to avoid recurrences
Assist in planning & monitoring the Compliance’s annual work plan
Review compliance regulations, procedures and standards as stipulated under the rules, legislations and regulations
Assist in preparing and tabling compliance reports/reviews on compliance issues to the Compliance Committee
Liaising with regulatory authorities and industry representative bodies in respect of compliance matters
Requirements:
Degree in any discipline
At least 15 years’ experience in regulatory compliance related role, legal or audit
Experience in legal practice, general counsel or corporate law is an added advantage
Knowledge of legislative aspects/regulatory requirements of asset management industry is a key requirement
Familiar with policies and guidelines of the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC), Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF), Bursa Malaysia, etc
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead, and work effectively in a team and manage stakeholders
Ability to recommend a pragmatic approach for problem solving
