  • As at 30 April 2021, 90.3% of PLTF’s NAV was invested in equities while 9.7% of NAV was invested in money market instruments. The Fund focused on sectors such as Technology, Communications, Consumer and Industrial in the U.S., China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea markets.
  • From its commencement on 28 August 2018 to 30 April 2021, the Fund registered a total return of +65.99% to outperform its benchmark’s return of +61.69%. This outperformance was led by the Fund’s holdings of Technology and Consumer stocks which benefited from the rising adoption of digital products and services as well as the sustained consumer spending on the global front.
  • Going forward, the Fund will look to continue focusing its investments on the Technology and Consumer sectors which offer long-term growth prospects on the back of the trends of digitalisation and the growing middle-class. The Fund may also be selectively-positioned in recovery plays which stand to benefit from the improving outlook for the global economy amid the rollout of Covid-19 vaccines.
