Add a Joint Holder to Single-Name Account(s) via Public Mutual Online (PMO)
The advantage of adding a Joint Holder is that if anything happens to the First Holder, the surviving Joint Holder (18 years old and above) can have immediate access to the Unit Trust investment account.

You can add your immediate family members (parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents, or grandchildren) aged at least 18 years old and who is also a Public Mutual Online (PMO) subscriber as a Joint Holder to your single-name account under the cash scheme (unit trust).
You may also add your child or grandchild who is a minor, i.e. below the age of 18 years old, as your Joint Holder via PMO.
You can only add one (1) Joint Holder to a single-name account.
You can add a Joint Holder to a single-name account via Public Mutual Online (PMO) by following the steps below:
Step 1: The First Holder must establish Maintain Family Relationship with the intended Joint Holder.
· Log in to PMO > Menu Button > Select 'Your Joint Holders' > Click on 'Maintain Family Relationships' and follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 2: The intended Joint Holder (18 years old and above) must provide their Consent as Family Member to be maintained as a family member of the First Holder.
· Log in to PMO > Menu Button > Select 'Consent' > Click on 'Consent as Family Member' and follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 3: The First Holder may proceed to Add Joint Holder to Single-Name Account(s) once the family relationship has been established in PMO.
· Log in to PMO > Menu Button > Select 'Your Joint Holders' > Click on 'Add Joint Holder to Single Name Account(s)' and follow the on-screen instructions.
