Scheduled Redemption Request (SRR)

The Scheduled Redemption Request (SRR) is a facility that allows you to redeem units of your selected fund from your account at scheduled payout intervals upon your request and is only applicable to cash scheme accounts.

a) Convenient, as withdrawals are processed automatically according to your determined scheduled payout intervals and credited directly to your registered bank account.

b) Remaining units in the account can continue to enjoy potential market growth.

You can register for a SRR via Public Mutual Online (PMO) by following the steps below:

  1) Log in to PMO > Menu Button > Select ‘Accounts’ > Click on ‘Scheduled Redemption Request’.

  2) Read and understand the Important Notice, tick on the checkbox, and click ‘Agree to Proceed’.

  3) Select an account to register the SRR.

  4) Read and understand the Terms & Conditions, and click 'Proceed'.

  5) Enter the ‘Scheduled Redemption Details’ and click ‘Confirm’.

  6) Launch the PMO PLUS mobile app and tap the "SecureSign" icon to authenticate your request.

  7) Return to PMO for final confirmation of your request status to complete the process.

  8) View and print the digital receipt (if required).

You can de-register your SRR via Public Mutual Online (PMO) by following the steps below:

  1) Log in to PMO > Menu Button > Select ‘Accounts’ > Click on ‘Scheduled Redemption Request’.

  2) Tick the account at ‘Select to De-register’ and click ‘De-Register Selected SRR’.

  3) Click ‘Confirm’ to submit your request to de-register the SRR.

  4) Launch the PMO PLUS mobile app and tap the "SecureSign" icon to authenticate your request.

  5) Return to PMO for final confirmation of your request status to complete the process.

  6) View and print the digital receipt (if required).

The available interval options are Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-annually and Annually.

i.       Once the SRR is activated, the distribution instruction of your fund account will default to "Distribution Reinvestment".

ii.      The SRR payout amount may be equal to or slightly higher or lower than the previously-determined amount due to rounding of units required on the transaction day.

iii.     The SRR will result in full withdrawal of your fund account if your account balance falls below the threshold of the minimum holding of units after a redemption is made.

iv.     The SRR will be automatically de-registered if the account balance is reduced to zero.

v.       The SRR is only available for cash scheme accounts and not for EPF scheme accounts.

vi.     The SRR is still subject to Terms and Conditions for redemption requests.

You may check via Public Mutual Online (PMO).

Log in to PMO > Menu Button > Select 'Accounts' > Click on 'Scheduled Redemption Request'.

Upon successful registration, the list of 'My Account(s) with Scheduled Redemption Request' will be reflected.
