Suitability Assessment (SA)
Suitability Assessment (SA) is a guide in helping you identify the various risk categories of Unit Trust / Private Retirement Scheme (PRS) funds that suit your age, level of knowledge, investment experience, risk tolerance, investment time horizon and financial profile.
The assessment result only serves as a reference for your consideration and is not an offer to sell or a solicitation for an offer to buy into units of our funds and accordingly should not be considered as an investment advice. Any inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you may affect the result of the assessment.
i. All investors are required to complete Suitability Assessment (SA) before investing in any Public Mutual fund.
ii. Below is the summary of the risk level and the types of funds under each risk category:

iii. You are advised to complete a new Suitability Assessment (SA) as and when there is any material change in your personal circumstances.
Your UTC / PRC will walk you through the SA questions via the following channels:
i) Public Mutual Online (PMO); or
ii) PMO PLUS; or
iii) Suitability Assessment Form
Public Mutual Online (PMO) | You may review, accept and acknowledge the result of the online SA (e-SA) submitted by your preferred UTC / PRC by clicking ‘e-Suitability Assessment’ notification icon |
PMO PLUS | You may review, accept and acknowledge the result of the online SA (e-SA) submitted by your preferred UTC / PRC by clicking ‘Pending’ icon |
Suitability Assessment Form | You may submit completed Suitability Assessment Form to UTC / PRC. |
You may perform the SA via the following channels:
i) Public Mutual Online (PMO); or
ii) PMO PLUS; or
iii) Public Mutual's Head Office, Customer Service Centres or Branches

You can find your SA Number via the following avenues:
i) Public Mutual Online (PMO)
ii) PMO PLUS
iii) UTC / PRC

You are required to review and update your SA as you have approached or will be approaching the next age threshold.
